Sorry, due to some nonpayment, the Handbook to the Handmade, volume 7 has not been released yet. Hopefully there be an update soon. You can still preorder your copy here.

I made it to the cover!

I am extremely happy to announce that my jewelry is on the front cover of "The Handbook to the Handmade", volume 7! I also have a 2-page spread inside.

Handbook in Production

The Handbook to Handmade is now in production! Yay!!! I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product and using it as an advertising tool. I am going to try to get the owner of the coffee shop where I sell my jewelry to buy a copy to promote my jewelry more. I will post a link where you can get your own copy, when it is finished.

Featured in a Book!

I came across a really neat idea. Have your store (Etsy) featured in a book that gets promoted worldwide! With 210 Etsy artists featured in 6 volumes, the handbook to handmade is a small cut of very talented artists from around the world.

"The Handbook to Handmade" is a 80 page monthly volume of 35 Etsy artists and their shops. This is a promotional tool that is used to help promote artists and Etsy. Timothy Adam is the creator. And it is now time for Volume 7.

Now I have become a part of it all. My store is to be one of the shops featured in Volume 7.

New Items!

I have tried out shrink plastic as a new medium in my jewelry. It is a lot of fun! I will be adding pictures within the next few days and adding them to my store.

Favorite Bead Stores

I am always searching for great deals on beads and store that sell unique one that will make my jewelry unique, too. So, I have compiled a list of my favorite bead stores for you.

Wal-Mart - It actually has some really great pendants, and the findings are comparable to other stores.

Michael's - Of course, the crafting superstore. Sometimes it can be more pricey than other stores, but they have a fairly good variety.

There are many great supply shops on Etsy. I am personally a big fan of supporting the Etsy community, since I have my own shop there.

Every once in a while, I take the time to check out a local bead shop or boutique. They don't have to be big stores to have amazing beads. In fact, because they are small, they sometimes have one-of-a-kind beads. Look in your local yellow pages. I'm sure you'll find one you absolutely love.
